CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGIST
My research generally focuses on the history of the Americas, especially as it relates to gender and kinship. Currently, I am exploring the roles of Indigenous people in the development of the field of practical nursing and the value of the humanities to medical education. If you have any knowledge about the Kiowa School of Practical Nursing (1935–1955), the Mount Edgecumbe School of Practical Nursing (1952–1961), and/or the Indian School of Practical Nursing (1955–1975), I would love to hear from you!
